The grand surroundings of Duncombe Park were our venue for the wedding of Foram and Matt, we love covering this exclusive venue and over the years produced some truly stunning images. here is a small selection of their wedding images.

This weekend we attended the wedding of Rebecca & Alan, the ceremony was held at St Peters in Croft on Tees and the Reception at Crab Manor near Thirsk. We dodged all the rain perfectly and got some really nice images of their intimate and emotional wedding. Here is a preview of some of their images.

Thursday night was the Laurence Jackson School Prom at Gisborough Hall, we had a great time and so did everybody else by the looks of it !! Here is a preview of the images taken.

I came out of the house this evening and looked up and saw that there was going to be a really nice sunset so diverted to Saltburn for a couple of hours of landscape photography and got some nice shots, don’t normally get the time to do this type of stuff anymore. Hope you enjoy them.

The Weather has been a bit hit and miss lately luckily it has been mostly missing us when we want it to, at Emma & Matt’s wedding at Rushpool Hall it rained so hard the roof in the conservatory started to leak half an hour before the ceremony !! I just managed to save their guest book and engagement pictures before they were totally soaked. The staff were soon on the case and everything was cleaned up in time for Emma to walk down the aisle. Here is a few pictures from the day. A note for people who know Rushpool they have now completed the “Temple” in the middle of the pool so the area in the gardens is now even more stunning than before.

Another Wedding At Crathorne Hall for Gill & I, the day started dry then went very wet then dry again! The Weather is something a wedding photographer has to anticipate and I find myself checking the skies and feeling the wind to see which way the clouds are moving or when we might get a break from the rain, and after many years seem to have a good handle on it (unlike not to be named weather websites). Any way it didn’t stop Marielle and James form having a beautiful wedding at Crathorne Church and Reception at the Hall. Below is a preview of some of their stunning images.

There are some really nice images in the set and can’t wait for them to come back from their honeymoon so they can see them in the Cinema Room.

Today I met Sonia & Stephen at Saltburn Beach for their engagement shoot. I think this is going to be the hottest day of the year so far…..so I left them to get an ice cream while I slave over their images… Sonia and Stephen are to be married at Redworth Hall at the end of June. We had the pleasure of booking Emma & Matthew to do their wedding photography for them on the 5th July 2009 at Rushpool Hall.  So they popped in the studio for their complimentary Engagement Shoot to see whats it’s like to be models for an hour.  They looked fantastic together, Gillian & I are really looking forward to meeting their family and friends and capturing the special day for them.  What a lovely couple. Gillian & I attended the North East MPA Awards on Sunday, this year we entered into the Contemporary Portraits category and Gillian won a Merit Award for the picture below. Well done Gill, we will also be entering the national awards which are announced in October. Congrats to all the other winners!

I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Elaine & Richard at Rushpool Hall last week, It was a lovely intimate celebration with a civil ceremony in the gold room. We decided to go to Saltburn beach for some nice artistic shots even though the wind was almost gale force ! Here are some of their shots from the day.

Laurence Jackson School Prom 2009

Our latest Booking is for Laurence Jackson School Prom 2009 at Gisborough Hall. We are really looking forward to bringing something new and exciting to our Prom Events this year.  Our Events Photography Service includes on site studio set up, instant preview and printing using the latest Mitsubishi events printers enabling a 9×6 true photographic print in 45 seconds, we also place all photos on our online ordering site within 48 hours. We already have a number of events booked for the school prom season. 

Zoe’s Place

We were really pleased to here from Sue at Zoe’s Place, as there holding a fundraiser in September (the 4^th) which they are sure is going to be a fantastic Nights Entertainment.  They have booked the Marton Hotel & Country Club and have an Abba tribute band booked – ‘’Abba Mia!’  So if you fancy a 70’s Night Fancy dress of course, you can book your tickets from Sue Fox at Zoes Place on 01642 457985.  We are going to be there capturing all the fun of the evening.  You can purchase your prints on the night or buy them from our online shop after the event.

Galley Hill Summer Ball

Once again Galley Hill Summer Ball is almost upon us.  Sarah Raine Event organiser asked us to photograph the Ball, which should be great fun.  A real chance to raise some money and for busy mums and dads to let their hair down.  Photos can be pre paid, purchased on the evening or purchased from our online shop after the event.

Yesterday I met with Foram and Matt at Helmsley for their pre wedding E Shoot, they are getting married at the fabulous Duncombe Park House, the venue is one of our favorite venues. Having been there several times now it is great to be able offer our advice to the Bride & Groom on how it will pan out on the day.

After a quick chat we decided to head over to Helmsley Castle for the shoot and had great fun, below is a couple of shots from the day. Many Thanks to Foram and Matt and we will see you in August!

I had the pleasure of meeting Sam & Neil at Headlam Hall for their pre wedding meeting and photo shoot in the grounds of Headlam Hall, It has been a while since I have been there and was looking forward to meeting Sam & Neil as well as seeing Headlam Hall again.  Headlam has some of the best grounds for photography it has it all really, stone walled gardens, terraces, water features, old trees and many areas for great photography. Sam & Neil were great fun and were really up for their shoot, even though the weather was a little grey but sometimes it adds to the photographs. Here are some of the shots.
